rec: "Fractal Irrationality" by khriskin

I'm not certain if recs are allowed, but I don't actually belong to any other 'just Sam' communities at this moment and this seemed to fit the spirit of the community.

TITLE: Fractal Irrationality
AUTHOR: khriskin
SUMMARY: "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." -- Albert Einstein.
SPOILERS: Stargate Atlantis - Season Four general casting spoilers
WHY: Sam in Atlantis, being different. It's not long, but it manages to get in not only her leadership side, but her technical side, and a mention of Jolinar's possession of her.

Update

I have not forgotten the comm. I'm thinking about taking it in a different direction, as there's not been much response to the challenges (and fandom seems challenge-saturated these days).

So more information will be forthcoming probably next month.

CHALLENGE 001: Getting There by a_bit_dotty (Fic)

Though I'm not new to the world of fanfiction, this is the first that I've posted for Stargate SG-1. It feels pathetic to be posting a drabble as a first story, but I seem to have hit a massive roadblock when it comes to writing. I post this with a feeble hope that it will lead to the ideas swirling in my head to be put to paper -- screen -- whatever.

Title: Getting There
Medium: Fic
Challenge: 001-Speed
Author: a_bit_dotty
Rating: G
Spoilers: None
Summary: She's not there yet.

Challenge 014: Space Pirate

Won herself a pass to some far off moon
It was second class but what's to lose
And looking out her window she could more than assume
That you can't see air or time
She's the only rocketeer in the whole damn place
They gave her a mirror so she could talk to a face
She still got plenty lonely but that's just the case
With time, time, time
